I love this place. This used to be the home of parrot jungle. That's why that cockatoo Mosaic tile is there. I miss the birds though. The gardens are still beautiful to this day and is about 5 a person to go in an walk around. I am unsure about half of the garden being renovated because of Irma. Still a lovely walk.
Favorite park to take my 2 year old son. Love the splash pad and the playground! He also loves the beautiful walking trails and the petting zoo.
Free for military ID card holders & family. One of the best hidden gems in Miami. There's a nature trail & natural fish ponds with exotic fish. Splash pad is great for little ones during summer. Petting zoo is open during certain times & they love to be fed. Playground is right beside petting area as well as picnic tables so pack some lunch & enjoy the beautiful scenery. This park is perfect for family outing. We've been several times. They have different activities going on during different times of the year and movie nights on the lawn.
The room or event rental process is simple and the rooms are great, but it's overpriced compared to other private event options (Deering, etc.).
The village of Pinecrest has done a terrific job of keeping this former tourist attraction as a quiet and well-maintained treasure hidden in a residential area. It's beautiful for strolling.
Beautiful, tranquil gardens just south of Miami. Former home of Parrot Jungle, the Gardens has interesting structures of coral stone, an amphitheater, numerous pavilions and amazing varieties of plants and birds.
Parking is plentiful and access is easy for all.
